After 10 years of building aquarium products, we can't help but brag a little. Our hoods and retrofits are made locally by our skilled craftsmen using high-quality material that differentiates our products from cheap imports.

Our hoods and retrofits are made in the U.S.A. in our manufacturing facility in California.

We use either the Fulham electronic or Advance electronic/magnetic ballasts with a 5-year warranty.

All the wire connections are securely crimped together and capped so that it is very hard for them to be disconnected.

We use heavy gauge insulated wires and power cords. Wires that are near the heat are protected with insulating sleeves.

All our hoods are constructed out of polished aluminum that provide excellent heat dissipation to reduce overheating. Furthermore, the thick aluminum plates are very strong and rust-proof.

All our hoods and retrofits are completely customizable, for example, you can specify the exact dimensions of your order, where to install the fans, where to route the cords and switches, whether you want dimmable moonlights, legs or hanging brackets.
